Delta Dental of Illinois CEO and President Bernard Glossy is set to retire at the end of this year, according to the Chicago Business Journal.
His decision to retire ends an eight-year tenure as CEO of Delta Dental and a 30-year career in healthcare.
In addition to his current role, Mr. Glossy also serves as president and CEO of Delta Dental of Illinois Foundation and Delta Dental's two subsidiary companies. He will retire from those roles as well.
Delta Dental's board is working with an executive search firm to fill Mr. Glossy's seat at the helm of the organization.
Prior to joining Delta Dental of Illinois, Mr. Glossy served as president and CEO of Delta Dental of Arizona.
