Delta Dental of California plans to lay off 51 employees at its operation center in Rancho Cordova, according to The Sacramento Bee.
Here are three observations:
1. Employees were notified about the layoff Nov. 30. Delta Dental reported the layoffs will begin Jan. 29, 2018.
2. Delta Dental included 31 data entry operators and imaging techs as well as eight mail clerks in the layoff among other positions.
3. The Rancho Cordova center is Delta Dental's largest facility in California with 1,021 employees. Employees at the center operate a call center, handle claims, work in sales and monitor state and federal programs.
