Align Technology and Glidewell Dental finalized their definitive agreement, according to The Camping Canuck.

1. Under the agreement, Align Technology will distribute its iTero Element intra-oral scanning system throughout North America along with the recently launched In-Office Solution from Glidewell Dental.
2. Glidewll's In-Office Solution is a chair-side restoration system that is designed to simplify the delivery and prescription of laboratory dental restorations. The company is one of the largest providers of custom restorative services.
3. Align Technology markets intra-oral scanners, aligner therapy and CAD/CAM digital services used in dentistry and orthodontics. The partnership will allow the company to market iTero to over 50,000 dentists currently using Glidewell services.
4. The combined entity plans to distribute the new services during the first quarter of 2018. The deal is expected to make a large impact on the global dental practice management software industry market.
