Just Kids Dental in Two Harbors, Minn., received a $25,000 grant from Delta Dental of Minnesota, according to the Lake County News Chronicle.
Here are three notes:
1. Just Kids Dental plans to use the donation to support its Healthy Teeth at School program, which provides easier access to preventive dental services and oral health education to underserved children.
2. With the donation, Healthy Teeth at School will be able to expand services to reach more children who previously would not have had access to preventative care and education.
3. Grant recipients of Delta Dental must show innovative strategies to expand oral health access and also demonstrate opportunities to promote and expand preventative education and services.
