A Pennsylvania dentist pleaded guilty to simple assault by physical menace after inappropriately touching a patient during treatment, according to an April 13 report from CBS affiliate WKBN 27.
James Godorecci Jr., DMD, was charged with indecent assault and harassment last year. The incident allegedly occurred Jan. 3, 2024, at Main Line Dental Aesthetics in Paoli, Pa., when Dr. Godorecci assaulted the female patient while providing treatment.
Dr. Godorecci received two years’ probation with a variety of conditions in the plea agreement, including no contact with the victim and a requirement that he participate in sex offender treatment.
In addition to the plea agreement, he must also comply with decisions and rules set by the state dental board, the report said.
