St. Paul, Minn.-based Hope Dental Clinic has closed after its efforts to raise more funding failed, Fox 9 reported March 21.

Hope Dental Clinic provided dental services to uninsured patients from Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa for the last 60 years.

The clinic was recently struggling with a lack of funding, leading it to lay off its staff in December. The facility required nearly $100,000 each month to keep its doors open, but efforts to raise this funding were not successful. The clinic filed for bankruptcy in February and announced its plans to auction off its furniture and equipment.

The virtual auction includes 345 lots featuring dental equipment, technology and furnishings.

The clinic said it has notified patients on how to access their dental records. It has also shared resources for patients to find other clinics on its website.
