California dentist found not guilty of sexually assaulting 2 patients

A California dentist charged with several counts of sexually assaulting patients has been found not guilty for two of the counts, NBC affiliate KCRA reported Feb. 26.

Several patients filed sexual assault charges against David Webb, DDS, in 2022 and 2023. Dr. Webb later closed his California practice and surrendered his license in the state before gaining a license in Idaho last year.

A jury found Dr. Webb not guilty on two counts of sexual assault Feb. 26. Jurors were deadlocked on the other five counts, resulting in a mistrial. The district attorney's office reportedly has until mid-March to ask for a re-trial on the five counts.
