Former dental employee accused of stealing money from Pennsylvania practice

A former dental office employee has been charged with stealing $1,600 from a practice in Cranberry Township, Pa., butlerradio.com reported Dec. 4.

Cranberry Dental Arts reported to police two robberies that took place in October. Cranberry Township Police reportedly discovered that a former employee was accessing records and appointment times by using surveillance footage and IP address records.

The former employee allegedly stole login information and logged into the practice's systems nearly 2,000 times to steal the money.

The employee is facing 70 felonies, including two burglary charges.
