Dallas-based Bravo Dental is leasing out space at JPS Health Network clinics to expand access to dental care, according to a Nov. 18 report by Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
JPS anticipates that Bravo Dental will be able to provide care to more patients each year than could be treated solely by JPS staff.
Bravo Dental offers more dental services than JPS, including complex extractions, root canals, crowns and bridges.
The JPS board approved an agreement with Bravo Dental to rent out space at five JPS clinics for $134,677 annually. The board also approved an agreement that allows Bravo Dental to utilize JPS funds to provide care to specific at-risk populations.
Bravo Dental is expected to begin renting out space in January, the report said.
