Dental hygienist wins Pennsylvania House seat

A dental hygienist in Pennsylvania won the seat for the state's 126th House of Representatives, according to a Nov. 5 report by Longview News-Journal.

Democrat Jacklyn Rusnock is a dental hygienist and teaches a dental program at Reading (Pa.) Muhlenberg Career and Technology Center.

Mark Rozzi, who decided to not run for reelection, had held the seat since 2013. 

The district includes parts of Reading, a portion of Exeter Township and all of Lower Alsace and Muhlenberg townships, the report said.
