From new openings to leadership appointments, here are seven dental school updates Becker's has reported on since Sept. 30:
1. The University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco has partnered with OraQ AI to research the effectiveness of artificial intelligence in the dental industry.
2. Little Rock, Ark.-based Lyon College School of Dental Medicine appointed Ashley McMillan, DDS, as associate dean for clinical affairs.
3. The Dental College of Georgia has reopened and is working to support its community after Hurricane Helene.
4. Cleveland-based Northeast Ohio Medical University has begun construction on its Bitonte College of Dentistry.
5. The University of Pikeville (Ky.) broke ground on its upcoming dental school.
6. The Marquette University School of Dentistry completed renovations on its pediatric dental clinic.
7. Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, Wash., held a grand opening for its dental school.
