Atlanta man charged with practicing unlicensed dentistry

An Atlanta man who referred to himself as a "top veneer specialist" has been charged with practicing dentistry without a license, WSB-TV reported Oct. 3.

Atlanta police and investigators from the Fulton County District Attorney's office recently raided the offices of A List Smiles Atlanta, which has been in operation since 2021.

Brandon Dillard was charged with eight felonies, including practicing dentistry without a license, practicing medicine without a license and theft by deception.

In addition to allegedly running the veneer office, Mr. Dillard allegedly held $6,000 training sessions to people across the country on providing veneer services.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is asking people who were patients and people who were trained by Dillard to come forward. She added that she considers people who were trained by Mr. Dillard to be victims, but if they continue practicing without a license they will also be criminally charged.
