The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center opened a dental clinic in Columbus, Ohio, according to an Oct. 1 news release.

1. The new dental clinic is part of Ohio State's Federally Qualified Health Center.
2. A dentist and dental hygienist from the Ohio State College of Dentistry will staff the clinic, which has six treatment spaces.
3. Ohio State Wexner Medical Center is partnering with Total Health and Wellness to create Ohio State University Total Health Care Center, increasing access to dental care for underserved populations.
4. State funding of $1.2 million supported the expansion of dental services.
5. The clinic is at the medical center's Outpatient Care East location.
