The Minnesota Dental Association installed Alejandro Aguirre, DDS, as president for the 2024-25 term.
Dr. Aguirre is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association and the Saint Paul District Dental Society, according to a Sept. 24 news release.
He has held several leadership positions within the organizations, including as a consultant on the ADA Board of Trustees Diversity Inclusion Committee; chair of the MDA International Dentist Subcommittee; and member of the SPDDS Peer Review Committee.
In addition, the MDA installed Scott Wagnild, DDS, as president-elect, John Noack, DDS, as first vice-president and Aruna Rao, DDS, as second vice-president.
