From DSO affiliations to technology additions, here are five dental industry updates that have taken place in Florida since June 21:
1. Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental added two Florida practices to its network: Vanderbilt Estates Dental in Naples and Ultimate Dental Studio in Port Orange, Fla.
2. Parkland (Fla.) Orthodontics is now under the leadership of Onni Franco, DMD.
3. A dental laboratory in Florida was fined for having a dental chair installed on its premises.
4. Dallas-based Beacon Oral Specialists added Vero Beach (Fla.) Surgical Arts to its network.
5. Miami-based Gables Sedation & Family Dentistry started using the Yomi dental implant robot.
