Madison, Wis.-based Affordable Dental Care is expanding to meet increased patient demand, WMTV reported April 20.
The clinic is relocating to a larger facility to accommodate more patients who are uninsured. Tom Buck, the clinic's founder, said the number of uninsured patients has grown as the region's population grows.
"The need is overwhelming. It’s growing," Mr. Buck WMTV. "The number of people that are in that condition, working from paycheck to paycheck and they’re either deciding that they have to use funds to have great dental care, needed dental care or just buy food, clothing and regular items in life."
The clinic will begin operating out of the new facility in October.
