Marshfield Clinic Health System, which has more than 60 locations across Wisconsin and Michigan, is planning to bring back its oral surgery services, according to a Feb. 13 report by Marshfield News Herald.
The health system previously announced that it was discontinuing its oral surgery services Jan. 31 because it was unable to meet patient demand.
In addition to oral surgery services returning, the health system is also considering adding a training program for oral surgeries.
As of Jan. 1, the Marshfield facility was the system's only location providing oral surgery consults or procedures.
There is currently no timeline or estimated date for when the health system will bring back its oral surgery services, the report said.
