5 dental industry updates in Wisconsin

Here are five dental industry updates that have taken place in Wisconsin since Nov. 6:

1. Warren Family Dental closed its Cottage Grove office Dec. 21 after 13 months of operation because it was unable to find a replacement dentist. 

2. The Wisconsin Dental Association swore in Chris Hansen, DDS, as its next president.

3. Sarasota, Fla.-based Dental Care Alliance added its 20th Wisconsin dental office to its network. 

4. Orthodontics manufacturer and supplier American Orthodontics will open a 129,025-square-foot facility in Saukville, Wis.

5. Wisconsin legislators recently introduced a bill that would allow dental therapists to practice in the state.
