Peoria, Ill.-based Associated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons is relocating to a new 15,000-square-foot building, the Peoria Journal Star reported Dec. 19.
The practice is constructing a $5 million oral surgery center that is double the size of its current office.
Nate Schroeder, DMD, one of the practice's owners, told the news organization that the practice has been in the process of relocating its Peoria office for the last four years, but construction costs and supply chain issues have caused delays. Construction officially started in September and is now expected to be completed in September 2024.
The new office will allow the practice to add new technology and expand its surgical team. Patient care will occupy roughly 10,000 square feet of the new building, the news organization reported.
