- Sarasota, Fla.-based Dental Care Alliance made its first addition in Rhode Island by affiliating with Hodosh Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry in Providence.
- Toms River, N.J.-based DSO ProSmile sold its SmartArches brand to private equity firm TriSpan.
- Dallas-based Smile Doctors introduced a joint venture partnership model for its partner doctors. The DSO also completed a capital raise of $550 million to continue its network expansion.
- Boca Raton, Fla.-based Sage Dental hit 119 practices after acquiring 13 practices from Narducci Dental Group in Florida.
- MB2 Dental partnered with Haystack to create Cerebro, an intranet platform to streamline communications. The organization also opened its 600th practice in South Lafayette, Ind.
- The University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco and Stanford (Ca.) University are partnering to advance training for oral health researchers.
- Thurston Group, a private equity investment firm, launched Modis Dental Partners.
- U.S. Oral Surgery Management gained a $150 million credit expansion to use for growth and expansion beyond 2024.
- New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Dental365 acquired a six-location group practice in Pennsylvania, its first additions in the state.
- New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health will expand oral health services in New York through a strategic partnership with ProHEALTH Dental.
- The Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners began considering changes to the state's anesthesia requirements after multiple patient deaths
- Guardian informed about 1,500 small businesses in Massachusetts that it will not sell policies to companies with fewer than 25 employees once the state's medical loss ratio is implemented in January.
- Chicago-based Aspen Dental opened its first Nevada office.
- Atlanta-based Benevis announced it would add three pieces of technology to its 120 offices to enhance patient care.
- Irvine, Calif.-based Pacific Dental Services announced it would open its first integrated medical-dental office in Irvine, Calif., in partnership with Fountain Valley, Calif.-based MemorialCare.
