Washington commission disciplines 2 dental professionals

The Washington Dental Quality Assurance Commission has taken disciplinary action against one dentist and one dental assistant.

The commission released John Lui, DDS, from King County from the conditions of his dentist license, according to a Nov. 16 news release from the Washington State Department of Health. 

Jasmine Caminos, a dental assistant from Pierce County, was charged with unprofessional conduct. The commission claims she used her employer’s credentials to prescribe a drug to her boyfriend.
