Marquette U dental school renovates 4 clinics

The Milwaukee-based Marquette University School of Dentistry is renovating four of its pre-doctoral clinics.

The four clinics undergoing renovations were built more than 20 years ago and lack many modern dental technologies, according to an Oct. 27 news release from the university.

Phases one and two, which were completed in 2022 and 2023, renovated the four clinics. The third and final phase includes upgrades to seven specialty clinics, six classrooms and patient areas.

The renovated clinics now have 23 chairs each, which is down one from the old clinic but gives students, faculty and patients more room, accessibility and square footage.

A digital dentistry innovation center is currently being built, which will be a five-chair clinic with digital scanners, CAD and CAM milling machines, and 3D printers, the release said.
