Roanoke, Va.-based New Horizons Healthcare is set to open New Horizons Pediatric Dentistry in Roanoke, according to an Oct. 25 report by The Roanoke Times.
The practice will treat patients up to 12 years old and will see about 25 patients each day.
There will be one dentist, one dental hygienist and three dental assistants staffing the office.
The center will accept Medicaid and give discounts based on household income for those in financial need that do not have Medicaid.
New Horizons Healthcare is a nonprofit safety net family healthcare provider that qualifies for enhanced Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement.
An official opening date for the practice has not been announced yet, the report said.
