Family Dollar recently issued a voluntary recall of certain dental and medical products shipped to stores in 23 states.
The retail-level recall involves nearly 300 dental and medical products the company said were not stored within labeled temperature requirements before being shipped to certain stores. The products were shipped on or around June 1 through Sept. 21, according to an FDA announcement. They were sold at the stores between June 1 and Oct. 4.
The dental products involved in the recall include various toothpastes, denture adhesive cream, cap and filling repair material, as well as mouthwash.
Family Dollar said it has not received any consumer complaints or reports of illness related to the recall.
