The Wisconsin Dentistry Examining Board recently voted on a change to speed up the licensing process for dentists, WISPOLITICS reported Aug. 8.
Applicants in the state must complete a written national exam and a practical examination administered by a third party. In its July meeting, the board authorized the Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee to administer the practical examination.
Marquette University is the only dental school in the state. The move allows students at the university to complete the examination before graduating.
