Aaron Wilkins, DDS, is rebuilding his practice after it was destroyed in a fire, the Daily Journal reported July 31.
His practice, Stones Crossing Dentistry in Greenwood, Ind., was destroyed in February when a space heater under the front desk caught fire overnight.
The practice rented out space at another dental office to help patients after the fire. Other dentists in the area have also served the practice's patients with immediate needs and emergencies.
Dr. Wilkins began rebuilding his practice after the fire and hopes to reopen in October. He expects the project to cost close to $1 million, including all construction and new equipment.
