Daniel Gold, DDS, a dentist at Scottsdale Dental Center in Arizona, is still practicing despite facing at least eight felonies, according to an April 26 report by Arizona's Family.
Dr. Gold is facing charges including burglary, fraud schemes and identification theft.
Nine of the victims were patients of Dr. Gold, according to documents cited in the report.
Because he has not been convicted on any of the felonies, he is still able to continue practicing dentistry.
Dr. Gold has the opportunity to self-report the charges to the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners, which is likely to step in and take action against his dental license, the report said.
