Dental practice schedules were 86.3 percent full in March, according to a poll from the American Dental Association's Health Policy Institute.
The poll was taken as part of the institute's monthly "Economic Outlook and Emerging Issues in Dentistry" report from March, surveying 1,053 dentists during the week of March 13.
The percentage is a slight jump from the 85.2 percent recorded in February. The 86.3 percent in March is the most full dental practice schedules have been since April 2022, when schedules were 86.9 percent full.
DSO-affiliated practices had slightly more full schedules at 87.5 percent.
In the top 20 cities, schedules were 83.9 percent full, more than two percentage points below the average.
