Dentists have differing levels of confidence in the economic recovery of the dental industry and the U.S. economy in the next six months, according to a poll from the American Dental Association Health Policy Institute.
The poll was taken as part of the institute's monthly "Economic Outlook and Emerging Issues in Dentistry" report from February, surveying 1,168 dentists.
Here is the confidence level dentists have in the economic recovery of their own dental practice, the dental industry in general and the U.S. economy over the next six months:

Very confident: 26.3 percent
Somewhat confident: 35.7 percent
Neither confident nor skeptical: 19.7 percent
Somewhat skeptical: 13.9 percent
Very skeptical: 4.4 percent
The dental care sector
Very confident: 15 percent
Somewhat confident: 39.9 percent
Neither confident nor skeptical: 23 percent
Somewhat skeptical: 17.3 percent
Very skeptical: 4.8 percent
The U.S. economy
Very confident: 4.7 percent
Somewhat confident: 25.5 percent
Neither confident nor skeptical: 19.8 percent
