Virginia is the best state to retire, according to personal finance site WalletHub.
In a report released Jan. 23, WalletHub identified the most retirement-friendly states by comparing affordability, quality of life and healthcare. The site then evaluated those factors using 47 metrics including retired taxpayer-friendliness, elderly food insecurity rates and nurses per capita. Read more about the methodology here.
More than 55 percent of dentists who participated in DentalPost's 2023 Salary Survey are planning to retire within 10 years. Nearly 11 percent of the dentists in that same survey reported planning to retire in fewer than three years.
As more dentists look towards retirement, they will need to consider the best places to conclude their careers.
