From acquisitions to technology partnerships, here are four dental practice deals that have taken place since Nov. 10:
1. Bangor (Maine) Children's Dentistry purchased Community Dental, a Rumford-based dental clinic that was slated for closure due to staffing shortages.
2. Matt Penz, DDS, of Penz Dental Care in Rochester, Minn., purchased property for $2.75 million to relocate his practice. The practice will move into a 3,500-square-foot space next year to accommodate its expanded staff.
3. Milwaukee-based Dental Associates plans to open its 15th office in the state. The Glendale, Wisc.-based office, slated to open in the summer, will be the dental group's seventh location in the Milwaukee area.
4. Risas Dental and Braces, which has 27 offices in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada and Texas, is adding Pearl's artificial intelligence dental technology.
