Three dental practices recently purchased new property to expand their businesses.
Details:
- Thacker Riverside Dental Care in Livermore, Ky., is spending more than $250,000 to add 750 square feet to its building. The expansion will include two treatment rooms, a consultation room, a shipping and receiving room and an accessible bathroom and ramp for people with disabilities.
- Matt Penz, DDS, of Penz Dental Care in Rochester, Minn., purchased property for $2.75 million to relocate his practice. The practice will move into a 3,500-square-foot space next year to accommodate its expanded staff.
- Bangor (Maine) Children's Dentistry purchased a dental clinic in Rumford, saving the clinic from its closure brought on by staffing shortages. The clinic had been without a dentist since November 2021 and was scheduled to close in September. The clinic will open in December and continue its operations as Rumford Children's Dentistry.
