The American Dental Association raised its annual membership dues to $600 and approved a budget deficit as part of its 2023 budget.
The organization's upcoming budget reflects $146.4 million in revenues and $148.3 million in expenses and income taxes, leading to a net deficit of $1.9 million, according to an Oct. 27 news release.
The $18 dues increase is based on a 2.4 percent average rate of inflation and $4 that will go toward new ADA programs and improving existing programs.
