Samuel DeAngelo, DDS. Periodontist in Cary, N.C. Dr. DeAngelo's practice is one of five in North Carolina using the Yomi Robotic Dental System to perform implant surgery. He is a member of several associations, including the American Dental Association and the American Association of Periodontology.
Gregg Gilbert, DDS. Professor and Chair of the Clinical and Community Sciences Department at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. In addition to his role at the UAB School of Dentistry, Dr. Gilbert is the founding director of the National Dental Practice-Based Research Network, which connects clinical researchers with dental practices for evaluation of oral health strategies. He was recently the recipient of the American Dental Association's Evidence-Based Dentistry Accomplished Faculty Award.
Russell Morrow, DDS. Chief Dental Officer of Biolase. Dr. Morrow was recently appointed chief dental officer of Biolase, effective Nov. 1. He most recently served as regional doctor mentor of operations for Heartland Dental.
John Pawlus, DDS. Dentist at Pawlus Dental (Columbus, Ind.). Dr. Pawlus is the first dentist in the state to use the Yomi Robotic Dental System to perform implant surgery. He has been using the Yomi robot since June and has placed around 60 implants.
Pamela Sparks-Stein, DMD. Division Chief of Dental Public Health at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry (Lexington). Dr. Sparks-Stein was appointed dean of the University of Pikeville's (Ky.) upcoming College of Dental Health. She has 13 years of experience in private practice.
