Penn Dental Medicine has entered into a partnership with Woods Services, a nonprofit group based in Pennsylvania and New Jersey that works to raise the standard of care for children and adults with disabilities.
The dental care center at Woods will undergo renovations this summer, including expanding from three operatories to five, adding state-of-the-art equipment, remodeling the waiting and reception areas and transferring patient files into a new electronic health record system, according to a June 26 news release.
The upgrades are expected to take six to eight weeks, and the center will reopen as the Penn Dental Medicine at Woods Mikey Faulkner Dental Care Center, the release said.
