Bedford, Mass.-based CareQuest Institute for Oral Health released the results from their second annual State of Oral Health Equity survey last week.
The results revealed that 77 million adults in the U.S. do not have dental insurance. It also reported oral health disparities for many populations such as people of color, low-income or uninsured people and veterans.
The survey is a nationally representative survey of 5,682 adults to study knowledge, attitudes, experiences and behaviors of oral health, according to the report emailed to Becker’s.
