Ali Arastu, DMD. Round Rock (Texas) Periodontics. Dr. Arastu taught part time at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Dentistry in the department of periodontics. He received the American Academy of Periodontics Educator Award for his work at the university in 2019.
Nicholas Berns, DMD. Crossroads Family Dental (Schererville, Ind.). Before joining Crossroads Family Dental in 2015, Dr. Berns spent four years as an active duty Air Force dentist. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Chicago Dental Society.
Lee Ann Brady, DMD. Desert Sun Smiles Dental Care (Glendale, Ariz.). Dr. Brady is the owner of Desert Sun Smiles Dental Care. She is also the first woman to be inducted into the Pankey Institute's Master Hall, an organization honoring dentists who have mastered dentistry skills and contributed to the industry, institute and community.
Curtis Brookover, DDS. Integrative Dentistry of New Mexico (Santa Fe). Dr. Brookover specializes in preventive, cosmetic and general biological dentistry as well as dental surgery. He is a member of various organizations, including the American Dental Association and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
Nick Fleury, DMD. Circle Dental (Meredith, N.H.). Dr. Fleury is the founder and owner of Circle Dental. He is also a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
James Galati, DDS. (Clifton Park, N.Y.). Dr. Galati is the New York State Dental Association's 142nd president; he was elected June 13. He has held leadership positions in dental organizations at the local, state and national levels.
Laurie McCauley, DDS, PhD. University of Michigan School of Dentistry (Ann Arbor). Dr. McCauley has served as the University of Michigan School of Dentistry's dean since 2013. She was appointed university provost and vice president of academic affairs in March.
Mark Phan, DDS. OKC Smiles (Oklahoma City). Dr. Phan teaches advanced dental procedures at the Oklahoma University College of Dentistry in Oklahoma City in the advanced education in general dentistry program. He is a member of the American Dental Association and Oklahoma Dental Association.
Arman Petrosyan, DDS. California Dental (San Fernando). Dr. Petrosyan has more than 20 years of experience. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the San Fernando Valley Dental Society.
Dave Preble, DDS. American Dental Association. Dr. Preble is the chief strategy officer and senior vice president of the ADA. He has served the organization for 16 years in multiple roles, including director of council on dental benefit programs and director of the commission on dental accreditation.
