Minneapolis-based University of Minnesota Dental Research Center for Biomaterials and Biomechanics is joining the Center for Integrated Material Science and Engineering for Pharmaceutical Products to develop innovative pharmaceutical drugs.
The Center for Integrated Material Science and Engineering for Pharmaceutical Products is composed of faculty from Newark-based New Jersey Institute of Technology and the University of Minnesota. The center aims to advance the development of pharmaceutical drugs by increasing the understanding of how materials interact.
The dental research hub will use its expertise in materials science and instrumentation to work with the center on advancing its mission, according to a May 23 news release.
