A tanker truck crashed into Lakeland Dental Center in Conneaut Lake, Pa., after its brakes allegedly failed, local newspaper The Meadville Tribune reported April 13.
The incident occured April 12 at about 2:56 p.m., according to The Meadville Tribune.
The truck was owned by Powell Sanitation and Construction, John Treacy, Conneaut Lake volunteer fire department chief, told The Meadville Tribune. He said the Powell employees were working in the area and parked the truck in a Subway parking lot across from the dental office.
The truck's brakes released after an hour of being parked, Mr. Treacy told The Meadville Tribune. After moving across the parking lot, the truck struck the western side of the building, according to the report.
No one was inside the dental office or truck at the time of the incident. There was one person on the other side of the building who was not injured, The Meadville Tribune reported.
