Mexico, N.Y.-based Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation has added a dental assisting program to meet the demand for this role in Oswego County, NNY 360 reported Feb. 14.
Classes for the 1,043-hour program will begin in the 2022-23 academic year. According to the school's website, tuition for the program is $10,865. It will cover topics including emergency care, infection control, preventive dentistry, clinical assisting and dental radiology.
Students will be able to take the licensure exam upon completion of the program.
