More than 1 in 10 dentists have disenrolled as a Medicaid provide since the pandemic's onset, according to poll findings from the American Dental Association's Health Policy Institute.
Results come from the ADA's nationwide COVID-19 impact poll for the week of Dec. 13.
The ADA asked 353 dentists, "Has your practice disenrolled from Medicaid since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic (i.e. March 2020)?"
In total, 43 dentists (12.1 percent) said "Yes," while 307 dentists (86.9 percent) said "No" and three dentists (.008 percent) said "Not sure."
