After investigators served a search and seizure warrant Sept. 28 at Salisbury, Md.-based Peninsula Dental Care Center, Stewart Perim, DDS, was served Oct. 5 with a court summons alleging several counts of insurance fraud.

The charges are the result of an investigation by the Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division, Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners and the state's attorney's office, according to the news release.
