The Maine Bureau of Veterans' Services is partnering with eight clinics to provide dental treatment to veterans thanks to a $35,000 grant from Delta Dental Northeast, Bangor Daily News reported Aug. 15.
The grant was made to a subsidiary of the organization, the Maine Veterans' Dental Network. The services will be provided to veterans who cannot afford preventive dental services.
Partnering clinics include the University of Maine at Augusta Dental Hygiene Clinic in Bangor, which will receive $4,000 of the grant.
