Several leadership appointments have been made at various dental companies and organizations this month.

- Western Dental made three executive appointments: Vivek Kumar as chief credit officer, Eric Royal as chief compliance officer and Keith Kooman as vice president of financial planning and analysis.
- The University of Missouri-Kansas City named Steven Haas, DMD, the dean of its dental school.
- The American Dental Hygienists' Association elected Dawn Ann Dean to be its next president.
- On July 22, Vista Verde Dental Partners introduced Jill Cruz as its director of operations.
- The Maine Dental Association board of directors elected Norma Desjardins, DDS, as its next president.
- K. Jean Beauchamp, DDS, was named president of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
- Patterson Dental Supply's former president, Eric Shirley, stepped into the role of senior vice president of business development July 19, while its former senior vice president and general manager, Tim Rogan, will continue as the company's president.
- Supply Clinic welcomed Patrick Strohkirch as its new vice president of special markets to lead ProSuite, a dental procurement platform for multi-office dental practices and DSOs.
- Delta Dental Plan of Maine added Marcia Minter, Grace Odimayo, DMD, and Bradford Rand, DDS, to its board of directors July 9.
- The Oregon Health Authority selected Kaz Rafia, DDS, as the next director of its dental program.
