- West Virginia University's School of Dentistry and WVU Medicine in Morgantown recently announced a partnership to provide oral cancer patients dental implants at the time of surgery using the Alberta Reconstructive Technique.
- Through a partnership between Virtual Dental Care and Holland Healthcare, patients and oral health providers will be able to use TelScope to take intraoral images that can be uploaded to patients' records on the Teledentix software.
- The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Nursing and College of Dentistry will work together to provide health screenings to pediatric dental patients undergoing general anesthesia.
- SmileDirectClub recently became a founding industry partner of Women in DSO, helping the nonprofit organization advance and support women in the DSO field.
- Specialty Dental Brands recently partnered with Tab32 to use the company's cloud-based dental software at its more than 90 practice locations.
- Students at the University of New England College of Dental Medicine in Portland, Maine, will provide dental services to people with developmental disorders as part of its partnership with Maine Behavioral Healthcare's Center of Excellence in Autism and Developmental Disorders.
- Abyde will provide Smile Source's practices with a HIPAA compliance program through a partnership between the two groups.
- The Delta Dental of Illinois Foundation and the Illinois Children's Healthcare Foundation are collaborating to provide $4 million in grant money to organizations working to improve oral health in children.
