A community dental clinic in Virginia has reopened after being shut down for a year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Community Dental Clinic in Martinsville returned with a full staff to continue providing dental treatment to low-income individuals. Clinical staff includes fourth-year students from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond.
Since opening in 2005, the clinic has provided more than $12.5 million in dental services and has nearly 5,000 visits annually.
