The Nevada Dental Association is moving its offices from Las Vegas to Carson City, according to Northern Nevada Business Weekly.
The organization's move to the state capital will give it greater access to lawmakers and state officials, allowing it to respond more quickly to policy issues that affect dentists, the association said.
"The NDA is looking forward to this move to Carson City,” Michele Reeder, the NDA's executive director, said in an Oct. 14 statement. "The strategic decision to relocate comes just before the next legislative session, and we're looking forward to continuing to advocate for oral healthcare in Nevada from our new location in our state capital."
NDA employees will work remotely as the new office, which is expected to open during the last week of October, is being remodeled, according to Northern Nevada Business Weekly.
