James Nickman, DDS, became the Minnesota Dental Association's new president during the organization's recent house of delegates meeting.
Dr. Nickman works as a pediatric dentist with Metropolitan Pediatric Dental Associates and associate clinical professor at the Minneapolis-based University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.
Already significantly involved in organized dentistry, some of Dr. Nickman's current roles include chair of the Minnesota Dental Political Action Committee and member of the MDA's Legislative Affairs Committee, Barriers to Care Committee and Minnesota Mission of Mercy Committee.
Some of his previous positions include president of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and of the Minnesota Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
