UnitedHealthcare Dental is rolling out a new teledentistry platform to help dentists provide virtual care amid the pandemic and reduce preventable emergency room visits.
The dental insurer's teledentistry platform will offer patients virtual consultations at no additional cost to help them make next-step decisions about their oral health.
UnitedHealthcare also announced in a June 24 news release it would offer in-network employers a 50 percent premium reduction in July and enhance provider payments through the end of 2020.
