10 states with most, least affected small businesses due to COVID-19

Thirty-five percent of small-business owners say their business won’t survive more than three months in current conditions, according to a new WalletHub report.

WalletHub used 12 key metrics across the 50 states and Washington, D.C., to identify which businesses have been hit hardest by the pandemic.

Ten states with hardest-hit small businesses:

4. Mississippi

5. South Carolina

6. Louisiana

7. Arizona

8. Nebraska

9. North Carolina

10. North Dakota

Ten states with least affected small businesses:

1. Washington, D.C.

2. Massachusetts
